What types of parks and recreation facilities do you want in Woodfin? Let Town leaders know !

The Town of Woodfin is developing a community-wide plan for parks and recreation. It will include all existing and planned parks and recreational facilities, and recommendations for future parks, trails, other facilities and programs. Now is the time to tell town leaders what you need and want in both the existing and new facilities! Please take a few minutes to fill out a survey, attend a public meeting and/or share your ideas with town staff and Aldermen. Your voice matters !

Please complete or turn in your survey by March 26th.

Attend a Public Input Meeting:

  • March 19, 4-6:30 p.m. – Woodfin Town Hall

  • Note – this is just prior to the Board of Alderman meeting

  • April 1, 4-6:30 p.m. – Woodfin Town Hall

  • Note – this is just prior to the Planning and Zoning Board meeting

Both meetings are at Woodfin Town Hall, 90 Elk Mountain Road.

There is a lot going on currently – fundraising and designing parks, trails and river access for the new Woodfin Greenway and Blueway. You can stay up-to-date by checking the project website (woodfingreenwayandblueway.org/) and signing up for email updates.
