The Woodfin Planning and Zoning Committee and Board of Alderman have approved construction of  a new development in the Baird Cove community. 

The project will be built on an old horse farm and consist of 115 townhome units.

After much work and years of planning, the Town of Woodfin is ready to start moving forward on constructing the greenway and "blueway". The project will start in 2017 and is scheduled to be completed by 2020.  

The Greenway will start in the vicinity of UNCA , follow the French Broad River and go next to the Craggy Railroad line to Reynolds Village. Although there is quite a bit of work ahead , the team is mostly in place.
